Traders often treat the Asian range as a box to fade at the London open. That habit fails when the overnight session already walked to one edge and spent hours there.
Our handoff sheet asks for four lines only:
- High and low of the defined Asian window you actually watch
- Whether the last two overnight candles closed near an edge or mid-range
- One sentence on liquidity feel (thin, orderly, or jumpy)
- A single observation plan for the first thirty London minutes — not a trade plan
In Session Timing Practice Labs we refuse “breakout” language until those four lines exist. Students who skip them invent conviction from the first green candle. Students who write them still get surprised — markets do that — but their notes stay legible when they review the week.
